Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Etsy file limits, 300 DPI compliance, and TruePack.
What is Etsy’s exact file upload limit for digital downloads?
Etsy enforces a maximum of 5 files per digital listing, with each file capped strictly at 20 Megabytes (20,971,520 bytes). TruePack organizes your 28 frame sizes into the exact 5 ratio slots and guarantees each slot stays strictly under 19.5MB.
How does TruePack ensure files stay under 20MB without losing 300 DPI?
TruePack uses an automated binary-search JPEG quality optimizer coupled with DEFLATE ZIP compression. If an uncompressed 24x36" master file threatens to exceed 19.5MB, it automatically tests 0.92, 0.85, and 0.78 compression levels until the entire ZIP pack fits comfortably under Etsy's cap while maintaining 300 DPI metadata.
Are my artwork or customer files ever uploaded to your servers?
Never. TruePack runs 100% in your browser using HTML5 Canvas, typed array byte manipulation, and WebAssembly. Your artwork never leaves your computer, making it 100% private and immune to server outages.
What happens after I purchase the $19 Lifetime Pro deal?
You immediately receive a Gumroad license key. Paste it into the "Activate Key" box on TruePack to unlock all 5 ratio ZIP slots, bulk downloads, deliverable PDF links, and POD mockup tools forever on any browser.
